Hey kids and parents! Our Chinese courses are specially designed for children learning Chinese as a second language, with levels ranging from Beginner to Intermediate. Here’s a little sneak peek into our fun and easy approach to learning Chinese:
Beginner: Fundamental Words
Just starting out with Chinese? No worries! Our beginner students learn common Chinese vocabulary, focusing on action verbs and descriptive adjectives. We use engaging actions and vivid visual aids to help kids grasp these words. These words are not only easy to understand but also highly useful in daily life. This makes learning Chinese more accessible and fun for the little ones!
Elementary: Themed Topics
In the intermediate class, kids learn to express themselves in sentences based on different themes. We also start introducing them to storybooks to expand their vocabulary, and begin lessons in Pinyin to prepare them for reading. These activities not only teach the language but also spark an interest in Chinese culture and literature.
Intermediate: Story Narration
Our advanced students delve into Pinyin storybooks like “My First Chinese Storybook.” This series is carefully selected to avoid obscure words, covering everyday life themes, traditional tales, fables, and animal stories. This not only helps in language learning but also immerses students in Chinese culture.
For students who have reached a higher proficiency level, they can join the classes with Chinese heritage students, as we do not offer separate advanced classes for second language learners.
