At our tutoring program, we specialize in providing comprehensive Chinese language instruction for Chinese heritage students. Our courses are divided into three main categories: Listening & Speaking, Reading & Writing, and Comprehensive Courses. Here’s what each course offers:
Listening & Speaking Course
In our Listening & Speaking course, we immerse students in a world of contemporary picture books and encyclopedias. This approach significantly expands their vocabulary across various topics. Through interactive activities like Q&A sessions, discussions, and narration exercises, we enhance their expressive abilities. By engaging with current and relevant material, students find learning both enjoyable and meaningful.
Reading & Writing Course
The focus of our Reading & Writing course is character recognition. We use the renowned 《四五快读》 series as our foundational material, supplemented by graded readers like 《小羊上山》，《迪士尼我会自己读》，《迪士尼我会自己读》 and 《铃木绘本》. This diverse collection allows students to encounter new characters in multiple contexts, deepening their understanding and recall of these characters.
Comprehensive Course
Our Comprehensive Course uses 《语文》（人教版）as textbooks, paired with reading materials of a similar level. The primary goals are character recognition and understanding vocabulary in context. Students also engage in creative activities like picture description and creative writing, which aid in practicing expression and composition skills.
